RISE was founded in 2023 by SMU Cox undergraduate students Carl Firch, Amare Leslie, and Sean Meares. With the help of the Folsom Institute, the goal was to make SMU the #1 feeder school into Real Estate Private Equity in Dallas and across the nation.
